The element of understanding
Clarium takes its name from the Latin clarus — clear — with the scientific suffix -ium. It is the element of understanding: the first element in Empirith’s product registry, and the one whose entire purpose is to make a thing visible to the person who needs to see it. A patient who cannot picture their own condition cannot act on it. Clarium exists to close that gap.
It pairs with its sibling Elenchium — the element of examination. Understanding, then examination. That is the order the registry is built in.
The problem Clarium addresses
Video-only telemedicine leaves three gaps. A comprehension gap: patients do not understand their condition because doctors cannot show them anything. An examination gap: unguided patient smartphone footage is clinically unusable. And a documentation and language gap: notes are typed after the fact, and doctor and patient often do not share a language. It also serves medical colleges that need affordable, curriculum-localised 3D anatomy teaching tools.
Who Clarium serves

- Patients, with a tier-2/3 India focus
- Medical and nursing students
- Anatomy faculty
- Clinic-chain and college administrators
Protocol stage: analyse
The lab’s method runs in six rungs. Clarium has reached analyse; everything past it is shown as not yet earned, which holds the project to the same standard as the registry’s empty slots.

Positioning: what Clarium is not
Deliberately excludes AR surgical guidance, telesurgery, and any diagnostic or triage functionality — staying outside medical-device regulatory classification (CDSCO, FDA) by design.
